"Staff were welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable about both the dental and insurance sides of the procedure. Information was readily available and the Dr called to check on me after the procedure. The only glitch was not receiving a prescription for antibiotics prior to the surgery to get them in my system ahead of time. I look forward to having Sexton’s take care of my dental needs."

"I cannot say enough about the professionalism and compassion of the staff at Sexton Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery team . Dr. Weiskopf was engaging, listened to my questions and responded warmly with confidence during our consultation. My nurse, Zee, on the surgical team was dynamite with a very nice, happy demeanor which relaxed me during surgical prep. I had an extraction, bone graft plus two implants, and Day 1 after surgery, there is zero pain or swelling, as I have followed their instructions imperiously. My personal experience has been excellent, and my expectations were exceeded. I would highly recommend this group to anyone needing oral surgery at the very highest standards anywhere."
"Dr Wieskopf first explained everything he planned to do and I then made an appointment for two extractions. Sophia was great. She made me comfortable before Dr W came in to start procedure. I seriously cannot remember a thing. By 6pm that evening I felt fine. Had very little swelling. Dr Wieskopf also personally called to check on me. Follow all postoperative instructions as needed and your experience will be as good as mine!"

Bu my safety comes first. He is getting my Drs ok. I am so grateful to have found Dr Russ to place my trust in. God Bless ! The surgery was Monday 21,25. Due to my health he's doing in 2 sessions. Monday, the top was amazing, I don't remember or felt anything! This is Wednesday , the pain control medication regimn he's had me on is totally working. Not shed as tear. Eating ice pops to help the swelling and pain. Sleeping all night. I would recommend Dr Russ, Oral Surgeon to anyone that feared this procedure as much as I did. I t s been a breeze. It's been 11 days since the top teeth were removed. I have to admit it's been a fairly pain-free time. Monday I have the bottom removed. I understand there is more to be corrected with the jaw bone, it may cause more discomfort than the top. Dr Russ is so gentle during the procedure I didn't have bruises."

When I arrived for my consultation ,I was in extreme pain, and the staff and Dr. Weiskopk took care of me immediately!!! My appointment was scheduled for my surgery in 2 days!!! I was nervous at first but the team made me feel very relaxed and comfortable .I had 4 tooth extractions and I am pain free !!I was in and out within 45 mins!!! "I was a patient at the Memphis location on yesterday and was treated by Dr. Sexton. I have to say that I don't really do reviews but I had to give credit where credit is certainly do. This office is Phenominal. Dr. Sexton was the most gracious surgeon I have seen in a long while. He made me feel comfortable and displayed nothing but genuine concern for my dental helath. He even followed up with a phone call to see how I was doing....This is truly, (and most would agree) rare these days. It was quite an experience. "Aside from the inevitable discomfort and awkwardness of any procedure you may endure, this was a fantastic experience. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. On the initial visit, I was fully aware of what to expect and how to prepare for the upcoming visit. Dr. Russ was extremely polite and made sure I knew every option available by explaining the methods and treatments for each. This was very helpful in making a decision and after leaving the office after my procedure, I had zero questions. I knew exactly what to expect and what to do. When he called me that night to check up on me(yeah, he did that), I knew I had made the right choice by deciding to use these guys. I wish I could give six stars."

"I had my 4 wisdom teeth removed and the entire staff from the receptionist to the X-Ray tech was so kind and sweet during the whole process, Danielle was on top of it when it came to the insurance and Dr. Weiscopf’s assistants were very professional, quick and kind with me knowing I was nervous. Then the doctor did the extraction in 15 minutes, super quick and he even returned my call after hours to check up on me. They also let my husband come into the room with me while they were doing my IV and giving me the laughing gas. If I could give them 10 starts I would. I’m very pleased and will definitely recommend to all my family and friends! Thank you all for the wonderful job you do."

I remember everyone in the room checking on me before my oral surgery, and what felt like only 5mins was an hour later I woke up to them making hilarious Spongebob references which was assuring for me, that my surgery went great. My dentist Dr. Weiskopf called me personally to check on me same day, and made sure I knew I could call him at anytime. By far the best dentist I’ve ever been to."

"The whole staff there is so amazing and kind! Dr. Sexton extracted every one of my teeth and sutured me up with perfection! He constantly made sure I was ok and even walked out to the car when I left. He makes sure his patients are perfect when they leave and calls to check on them at that night. "I heard about Dr.Sexton through word of mouth, I have personally only heard great praises of him and his staff. I had to do a last minute wisdom teeth extraction. The staff worked with me to get me in and, I appreciate that so much because I know they are so sought after and busy. The surgery when off without a hitch and I was in and out pretty quick with no complications or pain. The assistant I had named Shemiah was great, I was so anxious and she helped me call down by talking to me the whole time to make me feel like I wasn’t alone. Dr.Sexton also has great bedside manner as well. I would recommend them to anyone needing oral surgery. 10/10 doctors and staff."

Also, the office was very considerate of a medical condition I have and made rescheduling so easy to accommodate it! Savannah or Georgia , I believe is her name (I apologize if this is incorrect my memory is very hazy from the anesthesia), was just so sweet and great before and after the procedure! I was pretty nervous going in for the removal but have had minimum pain going into day 2 post op! (Obviously everyone's experience with wisdom teeth removal is different) They gave clear instructions before and after."

"I was nervous before my surgery, but laughing gas & several female nurse assistants helped me calm down before I was anesthetized. I was awakened when it was finished & I felt fine. A little numbness in my mouth, similar to the feeling after having dental work. More soreness was felt the next day; swollen tongue, and sore jaw where my mouth was propped open with a device."

My son was a little nervous about the surgery, but Dr. Sexton and Savannah made the procedure like a calm relaxing nap. Jennifer, who I spoke to about insurance & cost of the procedure was very nice & also answered all of my questions & had even printed out an explanation of the cost for me. "Needed fourth teeth pulled, three of them being wisdom teeth. Sexton was originally booked for almost two months in advance for a consult, but after being put on a cancelation wait list, I was able to be seen within two weeks of my original booking. After the consult, things professed fairly fast and my appointment was made two weeks later to get the teeth extracted. Sexton's staff and surgeons were very pleasant the entire time and their customer service skills were excellent. I'm a very anxious person and they did a great job with preoperative small talk to calm my nerves. They give you a very detailed handout with what you should and shouldn't do after surgery which I thought was super nice. All in all, I have nothing negative to say about Sexton, it was a wonderful experience. If you are looking for an oral surgeon in the Memphis area, this should be your first and only stop!"

"Clean and quick. I had a bad infection in an old root canal on a cracked tooth. Also, I wanted to get my wisdoms removed. So 5 teeth removed. I got a bone graft to set me up for an implant to replace that infected tooth. Healing’s been smooth. Barely any swelling. Bleeding stopped after a couple hours. They hooked me up with the good stuff but 600mg ibuprofen been enough. Weiskopf’s experience really showed. Love seeing a professional do his thing."

Nurse Jasmine worked me up & stayed with me while the abcess was lanced, drained & rinsed out. Jasmine did well checking every so often to be sure I was okay. "Listen, Explained, and Give Options: For 63 years I've had a fear and tear from one molar extraction done incorrectly. The fear of the pain kept me from getting the three other molders removed. This started with a toothache on Friday and by Saturday (over a three day weekend) the pain was so intense that I cried most of the weekend just from the pain. I called my dentist but of course nothing could be done in till Tuesday, he got me in as quickly as he could and explained that I needed a root canal, because of an abscess he sent me to a doctor that specializes in root canals and he did a panoramic x-ray and found that the tooth was cracked, and it really couldn't benefit from a root canal, he sent me to Dr. Scott Weiskopf who did the extraction, so much difference from a specialize in his field! He listen to what I had to say, he gave me options on pain. I chose the nitrous oxide with a drip that put me to sleep, when I woke up I felt nothing and two days later I'm feeling even better. I would highly recommend Dr. Weiskopf to anybody who has a fear of pain; all of the staff were very friendly and helpful! "Today 10/27/21 was my first experience at Saxton Oral surgery center. I had an absessed tooth that needed to be pulled. It was so painful but with antibiotics the pain started to somewhat subside. Saxton was able to make me an appointment within a couple weeks of calling and I was able to do the consult a tooth extraxtion and the actual procedure in one visit. Check in was easy and the procedure was a breeze talking me through every step I think the whole appointment that included check in, consult and procedure was like an hour and here I am 3 hours later filling out this survey thank you saxton staff for a wonderful experience to a very painful event."

"I went in to see doctor weiskopf to get my wisdom teeth taken out today and I have to say he is the best oral surgeon I've ever been to in my life. I chose to not be put to sleep and to just get the laughing gas and novacain shot to numb me up and he did it so gentle and quick I didn't even notice. Once I was all numb and he was starting to do the extraction I got scared and he sat there calming me down telling me everything was going to be fine and then continued with the procedure and it barely hurt and he was done with both sides in less than 15 minutes. I highly recommend him"

"I put off getting my wisdom teeth removed until I was 34 for a reason. I was scared to death! Dr. Weiskopf and his team were absolutely amazing. I see why it took months to get a consultation! I was made to feel so comfortable. I have zero pain from surgery and no swelling as of yet - I am typing this 10 hours post op. They were also very flexible in letting me have a say in my sedation and pain meds so I wasn't knocked out all day. I am very grateful for the care I received. As if I couldn't be impressed anymore, Dr. Weiskopf called me personally to check on me. He even sent in a prescription I forgot to ask for after my antibiotics, at 8pm. I will be telling anyone who needs oral surgery to run not walk to this clinic. I will also be telling my General Dentist he needs to refer there as well. You can't go wrong with getting care here. 10/10 highly recommend!"

"This is by far the best oral surgeon group I've ever been too and I trust them. I had to get 3 teeth taken out and my teeth are very brittle and break of easily. He urged me to be sedated because the gas wasnt doing anything at all. He even lowered the price and also did 2 of the teeth for free cause I was just in there for one. They have this awesome machine that shows them everything about your teeth even inside them. I'm thankful I was sedated because he said every single one of them shattered when he was taking them out. That's why my normal dentist referred me to this place and as an oral surgeon this is the only place I trust and they gave me proper instructions and medication afterwards to recover.
